ᐊᖏᕐᕋᒧᑦ / Ruovttu Guvlui / Towards Home

Organized by the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA), this Indigenous-led exhibit will run from October 25 – March 22
The John H. Daniels Faculty at the University of Toronto is proud to announce that ᐊᖏᕐᕋᒧᑦ / Ruovttu Guvlui / Towards Home, an Indigenous-led exhibition organized by the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA), will be opening at the Architecture and Design Gallery.
Running October 25, 2023 through March 22, 2024, the exhibition will showcase installations by Indigenous designers and artists that explore how Arctic Indigenous communities relate to land and create empowered spaces of belonging. The exhibition is an important first step towards welcoming and understanding Indigenous design in the canon of Architecture.
The exhibit opening will be marked with a one-night-only event on October 25 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
